- Please install and connect the terminal strictly according to the instructions
- Take care not to insert any foreign objects into openings
- In the event of malfunctions, please contact your sales or technical support immediately and do not carry out any unauthorized repairs
- Avoid shaking the terminal or knocking against it
- Always keep flammable substances away from the terminal
- Dismantling, modification or illegal use of the terminal is strictly prohibited and punishable by law
- Ensure that the connection to the host is secure before use
- Delivery: Upon receipt of the terminal, check that it is complete and ensure that there is no external damage
- Cleaning: Clean the terminal with a lint-free, slightly moistened cloth. Do not spray disinfectant directly onto the device and avoid strong friction and aggressive cleaning agents

Overview of terminal characteristics


Switch terminal on/off
The terminal switches on automatically as soon as it is supplied with power via the USB-C socket.
It switches off when the connection via USB-C is disconnected.
Function keys

- Square: Displays the respective applications running in the background
- Circle: Leads back to the main menu
- Triangle: Closes the current application or takes you back to the previous application
Set up WLAN

- Select Settings.
- Next, select Network & Internet.
- Then press WLAN. Next, tap the slider at the top right until Use Wi-Fi is displayed in green. The networks will be searched for in the meantime. You can now select your network. Next, scroll down to enter the password. Then press Connect.
Set up LAN

- Select Settings.
- Next, select Network & Internet.
- Then press Ethernet.
- Next, tap the slider at the top right so that LAN is displayed in green “On”.
Set static IP

- Select Ethernet configuration.
- Tap on Static IP, then the IP can be entered manually. Then press SAVE.
Readers
Magnetic stripe card
Please insert the card with the magnetic strip facing down and in the direction of the reader.
The device supports both directions. Make sure you insert the card correctly and pull it through the reader evenly and at a constant speed.

Note: The transaction may fail if the card's magnetic strip is damaged or if the card is swiped with the wrong side.
Contactless IC card
The RFID area for the contactless reader is located at the top of the display. To make a contactless payment, hold the card on the RFID area for about one second. Wait until you hear a beep to indicate that the transaction has been successfully completed. You can then remove the card.

Chip card
The chip reader is located on the underside of the terminal. Hold the IC chip card with the chip facing upwards and insert it into the slot. Leave the card in the terminal during the entire payment process.

Note: The transaction may fail if the contact point of the card chip is damaged or oxidized.
